The University of Dundee is committed to the translation of academic research for public gain and has supported the growth of the DDU since its inception to its current 30,000 sqft bespoke fit-out at the School of Life Sciences.
Project based funding from Wellcome, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV), among others, has helped to sustain and grow the Anti-infectives Drug Discovery portfolio making the DDU a globally recognised leader in these diseases.
Funding from the Medical Research Council (MRC) supports out Innovative Targets work to tackle diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease.
